About Ascend

Ascend Consulting & Engineering, PLLC was founded in 2020 by Abby Crockett in Houston, Texas.  Ascend specializes in management, civil design, structural design, and construction phase services for storm water and water/wastewater projects. 

Ascend is a registered firm with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, is a City of Houston certified Woman-owned/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (W/DBE) and a State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). Ascend's mission is to add efficient value to projects beyond client expectations.

About the Owner

Abby Crockett graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  She also holds a Master of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Houston and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas. Abby has over 10 years of water resources design experience and has worked for both large and small firms in the Houston area.  Abby's passions for small business development and providing efficient, tailored service to clients led her to start a new firm that will always strive to excel in the engineering industry.  The firm's name was selected to represent the ultimate goal when considering project quality and client satisfaction - to Ascend.
